13th Annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County Calls For Volunteers 4/23

The Howard County Arts Council is seeking volunteers to assist at the Celebration of the Arts on April 24, 2010 at the Jim Rouse Theatre at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia . Volunteers are needed for various opportunities including Decorations, Reception, Raffle Ticket Sales, Performance, Membership, Silent Auction, General Set-up, etc. Pre-event volunteer opportunities are also available on Friday, April 23 from 3pm - 9pm. This is a great opportunity to get involved and support one of the signature art events in Howard County .
The Celebration is a multi-faceted signature event, showcasing and promoting the arts and raising funds in support of the arts, artists and arts organizations in Howard County . This gala evening, features a reception from 6-8pm with a silent auction, food from area restaurants and caterers and musical performances on the Main Street Stage. At 8 p.m., the Main Stage show begins inside The Jim Rouse Theatre with the presentation of the Howie Awards and the Rising Star Competition!
