Amas Musical Theatre, in association with Scandobean Productions, LLC, presents a new musical with book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen entitled The Other Josh Cohen. It is directed by Tony Award-winning Ted Sperling, with choreography by Andrew Palermo and musical direction by Vadim Feichtner. The Other Josh Cohen opened last night, October 20, 2012. Scott Adsit, Chris Bauer, Edie Falco, Dayle Reyfel, and Kyra Sedgwick all starred in a benefit staged reading of Drama Desk Award winner and Emmy nominee Eugene Pack's new comedy, Columbus and Amsterdam, on August 17 at 8pm at East Hampton's Guild Hall. The evening benefited Guild Hall and The Felix Organization/Adoptees For Children whose mission is to enrich the lives of children growing up in the foster care system.

Just last night, GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy and anti-defamation organization, hosted GLAAD Manhattan, presented by Bravo, Ketel One and Miller 64 at the Eventi Hotel. On June 28, Tony's di Napoli Restaurant in Times Square added a new portrait to their outstanding Broadway Wall of Fame honoring the cast of the new Broadway musical, Nice Work If You Can Get It, starring Matthew Broderick, Kelli O'Hara, Michael McGrath, Judy Kaye, Estelle Parsons, Chris Sullivan and Jennifer Laura Thompson. Hosts Valerie Smaldone and Bruce Dimpflmaier presented the Dan May portrait to the show's stars in an intimate ceremony, and BroadwayWorld was there for the photo op!

On June 18, Robert Nicotra & John Dapolito presented Let's Kill Grandma This Christmas- A Contagious Laughter Production, at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios. The new comedy by Brian Gianci featured casting by Judy Bowman, and is aiming for an Off-Broadway run this winter.
