“I probably wrote one hundred songs about my first case of LA fuckboy gone wrong. This particular song was special though. I wrote it on the piano, sang it in one take, and that recording is what I'm releasing,” says sad alex.

A trip back to her guitar-driven roots, the song is a nostalgic slow-burner setting Miynt's delicately haunting vocal against understated production showing the confident restraint of a seasoned artist and songwriter.

Roll The Bones X is receiving critical praise—American Songwriter states, “This lo-fi style resulted in a distinctive ‘Shakey Grave’ sound that blends folk music with an array of unexpected elements.”

On the new EP, the band shares: “Drift is about letting life take you wherever it may lead, and sometimes that means drifting away from the old you and all that came with that.”

Leading the single with Haywyre’s expressive vocal notes and sonic melodies, “Wisdom” features stark synth patterns, electro breakdowns, and piano chord progressions.
