Battery Dance, in association with Battery Park City Authority, announces the 38 Annual Battery Dance Festival with free performances from August 11-16, 2019 from 7 - 9 pm against the backdrop of New York Harbor at Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park in Battery Park City, culminating in a closing performance on August 17, 2019, from 6pm to 8pm at The Schimmel Center at Pace University.

Spring comes to The Young Company at Greater Boston Stage with Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Opposing powers, private virtue and mob violence: Shakespeare's drama of high politics reveals the emotional currents that flow between power and people. Directed by Sarah Gazdowicz and Dori Robinson, Julius Caesar runs May 17 - 18, 2019 with Public Performances on Friday, May 17 at 10am and a Saturday, May 18 at 11am.

The acclaimed Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo will celebrate the world premier of Cuban legend Leo Brouwer's The Book of Imaginary Beings, written for and dedicate to the Duo, at New Jersey's Raritan River Music Festival on Saturday, May 25. The 16 minute, four movement composition was inspired by a compendium of mythological beings created by Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges.

New Philharmonic and Maestro Kirk Muspratt invites local youth instrumentalists and vocalists to audition for the sixth annual New Philharmonic Young People's Competition Auditions. Anna struggles to wake up from an anesthesia-related coma in Anna St. Hesia Dreams, an hour-long one-woman play coming to the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival in June. She tells a story of artists who create tourist destinations in the dreams of a dragon, which parallels and connects with her own. This is Leaky Faucet & Son's second year producing at Fringe.

Sunbathe in Darkness, a 90-minute comedy written by Adam Cash and Drew Petriello and directed by Brandon Karsh, will make its world premiere at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival in June.
