THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is announcing a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins May 28 at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia and plays a limited two- week engagement through June 9. In Philadelphia, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the Academy of Music Box Office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece. 

The all-new "Disney Junior Holiday Party! On Tour" Presented by Pull-Ups® debuts Friday, November 1 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. An extension of the popular Pollstar-nominated 'Disney Junior Dance Party On Tour,' the 40-date interactive show features favorite Disney Junior characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Vampirina and Bingo and Rolly from 'Puppy Dog Pals' performing live on stage to Disney Junior hits and other holiday classics such as "Jingle Bells" and "Deck The Halls." The show also includes a special appearance by characters from Disney Junior's upcoming animated series, 'T.O.T.S.' and culminates with a special visit from Santa Claus.

Associate Principal Viola Rebecca Young will receive a Ford Musician Award for Excellence in Community Service from the League of American Orchestras.  The Award will be for her work as host of the New York Philharmonic's Very Young People's Concerts.

The coffeehouse meets the cabaret in 'Poetry/Cabaret: PROUD' at The Green Room 42. Join curator and host Thomas March (Aftermath) and a cast of poets, comedians, and singers as they celebrate Pride month-and explore all of the reasons we have to be PROUD. 'Poetry/Cabaret' is a quarterly variety show that brings together poets and performers in an evening of wild variations on a theme.

Artistic Director Robert Battle has announced exciting highlights to Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's Lincoln Center season at the David H. Koch Theater June 12 – 16. In addition to a world premiere by Darrell Grand Moultrie and recent premieres by some of today's most revered choreographers across three distinct programs – Bold Visions, Trailblazers, and Timeless Ailey – the engagement includes The Ailey Spirit Gala benefit celebrating the 50th Anniversary of The Ailey School; An Evening Honoring Carmen de Lavallade; and a series of special activities for people of all ages and backgrounds. The engagement also marks the debut of five new Company dancers.

Found Stages and Dunwoody Nature Center are joining to present the second play in the second annual 'Wine & Reading Series,' Edith Freni's THE HYSTERICALS on Sunday, June 9, 2019. This event, which is part of a series of readings at 2pm on the 2nd Sunday of each month from May through October, will include a meet-and-greet with the featured playwright at receptions with wine and appetizers before and after a reading of their play by Atlanta's most talented professional actors.

Renowned maestros and superstar vocalists will deliver unforgettable performances spanning the classical music canon and the Great American Songbook during New Jersey Performing Arts Center's 2019-2020 Classical Series and American Song Series. 

The Improvisers' Choir is a group of agile and creative singers from across vocal styles and is lead by composer/conductor Jenni Roditi. The improvisations are led through a system of hand and face signals given by the conductor. The singers come up with their own musical elements, shaped in the moment through the conducting.

Rain and Zoe Save the World, an award-winning new play by Crystal Skillman, the bookwriter of Mary and Max the musical, will receive an industry reading at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios on May 15th at 3 PM. The reading will be directed by Hersh Ellis.

Durham, NH // Feminist Oasis announced today that UNH's Women's Studies Program has joined as the inaugural member of their new Institutional Membership program. Feminist Oasis pitched a new business-level member tier as a finalist in UNH's Social Venture Innovation Challenge in October 2018. Using feedback from that process, Feminist Oasis created the Institutional Member level, with universities, businesses, organizations, schools and other teams in mind to help institutions start or continue their social justice efforts within their institutions.

Target Margin Theater (Founding Artistic Director David Herskovits, Associate Artistic Director Moe Yousuf) closes their 2018-2019 season with NEWS OF THE STRANGE LAB, a three-week performance festival exploring rare tales from The One Thousand and One Nights along with early Medieval Arab fantasies. The festival runs June 6-23 and features commissioned new work by composer and choreographer Leyya Mona Tawil (June 6-9), the experimental theater company The Million Underscores (June 13-16), and theater maker Moe Yousuf (June 20-23).
