Audible Theater’s new production of Eugene O’Neill epic Long Day’s Journey Into Night, directed by Tony Award nominee Robert O’Hara, is now in performances at the Minetta Lane Theatre through February 20 only.

On Sunday, January 30, Paper Mill Playhouse will celebrate opening night of Clue, directed by Casey Getting its Paper Mill production after a postponement in the fall of 2020, murder and blackmail are back on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble for a dinner party at Boddy Manor. Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the cult 1985 Paramount movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro game, this farce-meets-murder-mystery is bloody good fun.

New York City Center will soon kick off the 2022 Encores! Season on February 2 - 6 with The Tap Dance Kid, featuring music by Henry Krieger, lyrics by Robert Lorick, and a book by Charles Blackwell. Directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon (A Raisin in the Sun), the production also includes new tap sequences by choreographer Jared Grimes (After Midnight) and a concert adaptation by Lydia Diamond (Stick Fly). Lincoln Center Theater’s INTIMATE APPAREL, a new opera with music by Ricky Ian Gordon and libretto by Lynn Nottage, based off of her play of the same name, and direction by Bartlett Sher begins previews tomorrow, January 13 ahead of a Monday, January 31 opening at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. The opera was in previews at the Newhouse when theaters shutdown in 2020.

Last night, To Kill a Mockingbird welcomed Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear as he made his Broadway debut as “Atticus Finch.” Written by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin with direction by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, To Kill a Mockingbird also stars Baize Buzan as “Scout Finch.”

Roundabout Theatre Company has released the studio recording of Caroline, or Change (The New Broadway Cast Recording) from Broadway Records/Roundabout Records, with the physical release date set for January 14, 2022.
