Netflix has given a 10-episode order to Tiny Pretty Things, a drama series based on the book by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton, according to Deadline.

Hallmark Channel launched its annual 'Summer Nights' franchise with a splash on Saturday, featuring the premiere of 'Love and Sunshine', a new original movie. The film not only ranked as the highest-rated and most-watched program of the day, but it elevated the network to rank #1 across cable in household-rating during Weekend Primetime, and #2 during Primetime for the entire week[1]. The premiere averaged a 2.1 Household rating, 2 million Total Viewers, and 240,000 Women 25-54.

The new season premiere of HGTV's Flip or Flop, starring divorced couple Christina Anstead and Tarek El Moussa, delivered a 1.07 live plus three-day rating among P25-54 on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The rating was a 73% increase in the demo for the 9-9:30 p.m. timeslot over the prior six weeks. It also garnered a 1.34 live plus three-day rating among W25-54, a 65% increase in the demo for the timeslot over the prior six weeks. Attracting more than 3.8 million total viewers, the episode ranked as the #2 cable program in the timeslot among upscale W25-54 and as the #3 cable program in the timeslot among P25-54 and W25-54. The Flip or Flop premiere also resonated with millennial viewers, ranking as a top 5 cable program in the timeslot among P25-34.

Young punk band from the Isle of Wright, UK, Grade 2 will release their third album and Hellcat debut, Graveyard Island, on October 11th. The album was recorded and produced by Rancid's Tim Armstrong at Armstrong's Shiprec Studios and mixed by The Interrupters' Kevin Bivona. Today, the band unveils the video for Graveyard Island's title track. 

Global content studio Pulse Films has partnered with international journalist Noor Tagouri's At Your Service to produce a new multi-part non-fiction series :In America with Noor. The show, which highlights hot-button domestic issues for international audiences, will be executive produced by Tagouri and At Your Service's Adam Khafif, and Marisa Clifford, Dan Baglio and Thomas Benski, for Pulse Films. The series is heading to market early fall 2019.    

Today The Joy Formidable have announced the release of a special commemorative 10-year double album edition of their acclaimed debut release A Balloon Called Moaning. The double album, due October 25 via Hassle Records, will include their 2009 EP A Balloon Called Moaning plus a newly recorded acoustic Welsh language version, Y Falŵn Drom. FX has ordered a fourth season of its Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) award winning hit comedy series Atlanta, it was announced today by Eric Schrier, President, FX Entertainment. Production of seasons three (previously ordered on 6/7/18) and four - both eight episodes each - are scheduled to begin next spring.

Fueled by the 2-part “The Bachelorette” finale, ABC won its 3rd straight week in Adults 18-49 (0.8/4), beating runner-up NBC by 14% (0.7/4), while doubling CBS (+100% - 0.4/2) and Fox (+100% - 0.4/2). ABC spiked over the prior week by 33% among Adults 18-49 to a 7-week high—since the week of 6/10/19. In addition, ABC improved over the year-ago week by 33% (0.6/3 on w/o 7/30/18), standing as the only broadcast network to post year-to-year growth.
