CBS is set to remake the Sky gameshow A League Of Their Own from James Corden, according to Deadline.

Today, Quibi announced the greenlight for THE NOW from Peter and Bobby Farrelly, and the casting of Dave Franco in the lead role.

He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Direction And Composition For A Drama Series in 2019. Norland is also known for his musical collaborations in the news and TV worlds including '20/20', 'Good Morning America', and 'The View', among many others. Now he is proud to announce that he will be releasing his debut full length solo album, 'Glam Tear Stain', tomorrow, 11/1 on Denovali Records, his debut for the German independent music label.

Northern California singer/songwriter Sasha Papadin aka Loverman has released the video for his song “Coming Up Roses” today via Northern Transmissions.  The track was produced by Gus Seyffert (Beck, The Black Keys, Michael Kiwanuka) and features Joey Waronker (R.E.M., Atoms for Peace) on drums.

Veteran television executive Jamila Hunter has been named senior vice president of Current Series and Alternative Programming, Freeform, it was announced today by Lauren Corrao, executive vice president of Original Programming and Development, Freeform, to whom she will report. In her new role, Hunter will oversee unscripted and alternative content as well as scripted programming across the network's current slate of shows. Hunter is expected to start at the top of the new year. 

Today Amazon Prime Video surprised fans by globally releasing the second season of action-thriller Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, starring John Krasinski (A Quiet Place), one day early. The announcement was made via Krasinski's social channels in which immediately following his posting the series went live on Prime Video.

Last night at Betrayal on Broadway, the shows stars Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Cox dressed up for Halloween - as each others famous superhero characters! Hiddleston was wearing a Daredevil costume, which Cox is famous for portraying on the Netflix series of the same name. Cox donned a Loki costume, the Hiddleston played in numerous Marvel films, including the Thor series.

SHOWTIME has released the official poster and trailer for its new half-hour comedy series WORK IN PROGRESS, created by Chicago improv mainstays Abby McEnany and Tim Mason and co-written by Lilly Wachowski (The Matrix, Sense8), premiering on Sunday, December 8 at 11 p.m. ET/PT. A funny and uniquely human comedy, the series  features McEnany as a 45-year-old self-identified fat, queer dyke from Chicago whose misfortune and despair unexpectedly lead her to a vibrantly transformative relationship. Chicago-based performer Karin Anglin co-stars alongside Celeste Pechous, with Julia Sweeney (Saturday Night Live, Shrill) appearing in a crucial role as herself. Theo Germaine (The Politician) will also appear as a special guest star.
