AMC announced today that it had renewed “Eli Roth's History of Horror” for a second season of six episodes. The second season, which will also appear on AMC Networks' horror streaming service, Shudder, will feature episodes devoted to monsters, evil children, witches, body horror, houses of hell and “Eli's Terrifying Twelve.” Season one reached nearly 6 million viewers on AMC in Nielsen live+7 ratings, the episodes later appeared on Shudder, and extended cuts of the interviews in the show were released as a podcast, which became the #2 podcast in the TV & Film genre – a true original programming trifecta.

The 88th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas event in America, announces its Grand Marshal and the 2019 talent lineup for its landmark anniversary celebration, which will take place on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. PT. The host of Access Hollywood, Mario Lopez, and the Lopez family, are this year's Grand Marshals. They will join an eclectic array of musical performances featured during the parade and national telecast, including Jesse & Joy, Dionne Warwick, Brandon Jenner, Sheléa, The Band Of Merrymakers, Rock of Ages, Shawn Wayans presents The Boo Crew, Phil Vassar, David Archuleta, Ace Young & Diana DeGarmo, James Maslow, Ashen Moon with Mikalah Gordon and Brandon Rogers. Portuguese alternative folk-rock artist, Marinho, has released a new live video for “Joni,” in celebration of Joni Mitchell's birthday. Marinho was inspired to write the song about “a woman, an artist, a painter, an amazing human being that I never met… but feels like we already met,” after watching the documentary “Woman of Heart and Mind” as a teenager. This video was filmed at the sold-out release show for Marinho's debut album, ~ (tilde), on Oct. 24 at ZBD in Portugal, where many great artists, such as Angel Olsen, Kevin Morby, Weyes Blood, Devendra Banhart and more, have had their first shows in the country. Marinho drew great inspiration from watching performances at ZBD, and had the chance to open for Anna St. Louis there in May of 2019. At this special album release party, she played all of ~ in its entirety, and “Joni” closed out the show before the encore.

Atlantic Records is celebrating its signing of Memphis rapper Kevo Muney with today's release of his “Everythang Changed” official music video via Billboard and the announcement of his mixtape, Baby G.O.A.T. The mixtape will feature fellow Memphis artists Tay Keith and BlocBoy JB and drops December 13th. With co-signs from Kevin Gates, Gunna and more, his vow to “bring soul back to rap,” and the backing of Atlantic Records, the 19-year-old emcee has no plans of slowing down any time soon. Kevo is currently featured in Sprite's Sprite Way campaign, which showcases up and coming buzzing artists.
