“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has tied for #1 for the late-night ratings week of Jan. 20-24 in the key demographic of adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, and won the week outright versus its ABC and CBS competition in all key adult-female demographics, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Little Dragon returns with their new studio album New Me, Same Us, available physically and digitally on March 27th on Ninja Tune. Entirely self-produced and recorded at the pioneering Swedish four-piece's long-term home-built studio in Gothenburg, the album is another chapter in the continuing evolution of Little Dragon. The album's infectious lead single “Hold On” is a message about breaking away and moving on, and is a slice of classic Little Dragon awesomeness. “It started out as a slick house track but transformed once Fred played the base through it and we all worked it together,” the band explains. “It became something raw and soulful. Casey spent the last year touring internationally as part of the renowned collective Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox.

Today, LA-based indie folk artist Cory Becker shares 'The Preacher', the third single off his upcoming debut album One. Vents Magazine premiered the track earlier today and shared some information behind the latest single, stating 'the singer-songwriter opens up about his past and present with a vulnerability that rarely some get to archive.' Lead single 'Haunt', released in October, was featured on Spotify's coveted Fresh Finds playlist and second single 'Rivers', came out in December and received praise from local tastemaker, Buzzbands LA. Sparks – brothers Ron and Russell Mael - have announced the May 15 release of their 24th studio album, A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip, and a European run of tour dates in October. In the announcement video, the band also confirm the release (without providing any dates) of the Sparks-written musical feature film Annette, starring Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard and directed by Leos Carax (Holy Motors), and the currently-untitled Sparks documentary directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver, Spaced).

U.K. Grindcore pioneers, Napalm Death announce their Spring North American headline tour today. The band will be joined by death metal band and labelmates Aborted (April 17-May 16), The Locust (April 9-April 15), Nastie Band (April 9-April 15), Tombs (April 24-May 16), and Wvrm (April 17-May 16) for select dates. The action-packed CINEMAX drama series STRIKE BACK will return for its seventh and final season FRIDAY, FEB. 14 (10:00–11:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on CINEMAX. 

Featuring the return of its drama lineup and a two-hour crossover event between “Station 19” and “Grey's Anatomy” from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC scored a new Thursday season high among Adults 18-49 (1.8/10) and delivered its highest-rated Thursday with entertainment programming since February 2019 – since 2/28/19. ABC stood as Thursday's No. 1 network in Adults 18-49, dominating its nearest competition by 80% (Fox = 1.0/5) and ranking No. 1 in all 6 half-hours of the night. ABC claimed the night's Top 3 shows in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 with “Grey's Anatomy,” the season premiere of “Station 19” and “A Million Little Things,” respectively.

ABC News' “World News Tonight with David Muir” stood as the evening's No. 1 newscast for the 6th week in a row in all key target demos: Total Viewers (9.101 million), Adults 25-54 (1.745 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.187 million) for the week of Jan. 20, 2020, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “World News Tonight” outperformed “NBC Nightly News” (7.907 million, 1.654 million and 1.162 million, respectively) by 1.194 million Total Viewers, 91,000 Adults 25-54 and 25,000 Adults 18-49.  In fact, “World News Tonight” outdelivered “NBC Nightly News” head-to-head on each of the five nights of the week by more than 1.0 million viewers for the first time in nearly 24 years – since w/o 4/15/96, based on regular telecasts. “World News Tonight” has led “NBC Nightly News” by more than 1.1 million viewers for the past three weeks.

Having just completed a month long coast-to-coast Canadian arena tour as well as a run of dates in the U.S. this past Fall, City and Colour, acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Dallas Green, announces a run of U.S. tour dates, taking place this Spring.
