Arthur Moon - the Brooklyn avant-pop group fronted by Lora-Faye Åshuvud alongside collaborators Cale Hawkins (Quincy Jones, Bilal, Linda Perry), Martin D. Fowler (a composer for This American Life), Dave Palazola and Aviva Jaye - released their exceptional self-titled debut album earlier this year. Today, they've released a remix of the stand out track “Infield” by bicoastal musician and producer Young & Sick. The rich, wandering remix heightens the off-kilter pop already present in the track. In addition to working on the remix, Young & Sick will be DJing the first night of Arthur Moon's upcoming residency at Brooklyn's Public Records on April 8th. 

Indie-shoegaze quintet out of Los Angeles Draag shared a mesmerizing single & video for “Trauma Kit” today off their Clara Luz EP with Atwood Magazine. Co-produced by Jon Nuñez of Torche, the project will be released on February 21, following 2018's Nontoxic Process EP praised by the likes of Noisey for its 'murky grunge-gaze compositions and gut-twisting songwriting.' The band previously shared the dreamy “Ghost Leak” and will be celebrating their release with a February residency every Monday night at The Echo and Echoplex in Los Angeles.

Brass sensation THE SOUL REBELS, kick off their Poetry In Motion Tour in support of the new genre-bending album. In support of the tour launch, the eight-piece collective are turning heads with a new lyric video for the single “Greatness”, tapped by ESPN as the official soundtrack of the 2019-20 college basketball season. 

Gaither Music Group announced- today- that they will release a compilation of worship songs and hymns from seven-time GRAMMY winner Randy Travis with an album titled Precious Memories and an accompanying DVD entitled “Worship & Faith.” Filmed in 2003 at Calvary Assembly of God in Orlando, Fla., Travis and his band performed songs including “I'll Fly Away,” “Three Wooden Crosses” and “Just a Closer Walk With Thee” among other favorites. The newly re-packaged album includes songs such as “How Great Thou Art,” “Softly and Tenderly” and “The Unclouded Day.” The package is available for preorder now and will be released on February 21.

iHeartMedia and FOX Entertainment announced today that eight-time Grammy award-winning artist Usher, who has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide, will host and perform during the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards. The event will also feature live performances from Halsey and Lizzo, as well as previously announced performer, Justin Bieber, with more to be announced. The two-hour event will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sunday, March 29 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live / PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The seventh annual iHeartRadio Music Awards will also broadcast live on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and iHeartRadio, the all-in-one digital music, podcast, on demand and live-streaming radio service.

Winners of the 2020 Sundance Film Festival jury prizes in short filmmaking were announced tonight by Sundance Institute at a ceremony in Park City, Utah. The Short Film Grand Jury Prize, awarded to one film in the program of 74 shorts selected from a record high 10,397 submissions, went to So What If The Goats Die, directed and written by Sofia Alaoui. The Short Film program is presented by Southwest Airlines®.

Songwriter and country music artist Brenda Cay has been spreading her songwriting skills behind the scenes from Chattanooga to Nashville, TN. In 2019 she decided to put her vocals behind some of her songs as a vehicle to share her gift of lyrical genius with her fans. Brenda shared,  'The idea for this song was something I read on a t-shirt while in Gatlinburg, TN. The shirt was a warning against drinking too much moonshine. It made me smile and resonated with me..so of course I wrote a song.' Alligator recording artist and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Elvin Bishop will give a special stripped down performance with harmonica master Charlie Musselwhite and guitarist/pianist Bob Welsh at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown on Thursday, February 20 and the Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
