ETM celebrated its 30th Annual Benefit Gala on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Cipriani 42nd Street. The gala included over 400 people and raised over $1M.

The Old Globe and University of San Diego Shiley Graduate acting program was created as a result of very few actors being trained in classical theatre. The program nationally recruits seven students each year to participate in an intensive two-year, year-round course of graduate study in classical theatre. It is one of the most competitive programs in the country, with only a 2% acceptance rate.

Kinder HSPVA prepares young artists for college, conservatories, and the professional arts world. While having the same academic curriculum and graduation requirements as other HISD high schools, students also spend three hours every day in one art discipline. All students must audition for Kinder HSPVA.

Terron Brooks is a powerhouse vocalist and best known for his critically acclaimed role as the great Eddie Kendricks in the Emmy Award-winning NBC mini-series The Temptations. He is no stranger to the Broadway stage; performing in The Lion King and Hairspray. He was featured in the World Premieres of Sleepless in Seattle: The Musical and First Wives Club: The Musical. For his role as Daddy Brubeck in Sweet Charity, Terron earned an Ovation Award nomination. We sat down with two-time NAACP Award nominee to talk about his new album, The Soul of Broadway (Deluxe Album).
