Aurora Theatre is opening the curtain to unveil its 2017-2018 Peach State Federal Credit Union Signature Series! Georgia's second largest professional theater will once again bring Broadway-caliber productions of unsurpassed talent and theatrics to the Lawrenceville's charming downtown square. This season's diverse line-up features THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, ABIGAIL/1702, MAYTAG VIRGIN,RIPCORD and the highly anticipated return of the celebrated holiday classic CHRISTMAS CANTEEN 2017. One additional show, a blockbuster musical slated for a Spring 2018 production, is an audience favorite and will be announced over the summer. Led by co-founders Anthony Rodriguez and Ann-Carol Pence, the upcoming season offers something for theatergoers of all ages with a main stage mix of musicals, comedies and dramas! 
Broadway Smash-Hit MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET Coming to Georgia Ensemble Theatre

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, will finish up its 24thseason with Million Dollar Quartet, the smash-hit Tony Award-winning musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. Based on a true event, the production runs April 6th through 23rd, 2017 at the theatre's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. Chris Damiano, as both Director and Music Director is at the helm of this fast-paced Broadway musical that serves up all the hits we know and love. Million Dollar Quartet is graciously sponsored by The Malon D. Mimms Company and Synovus/The Bank of North Georgia and is a co-production with The Atlanta Lyric Theatre.

Charles Dickens' classic novel Oliver Twist will come to life at the Center for Puppetry Arts for one week only, from February 28 - March 5. The show is performed by Simpich Marionettes out of Colorado Springs, Colo., and features David Simpich's ornate, hand-carved marionettes. In this one-man show, Simpich does double duty puppeteering his marionettes while performing as Dickens. As the narrator, he tells the tale of literature's famous orphan who escapes an orphanage only to find himself caught up in London's underground crime scene.

PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue" based on hit preschool series PAW Patrol, which airs on Nickelodeon and is produced by Spin Master Entertainment, will visit the Fox Theatre on July 8 and 9. PAW Patrol Live! presented by Pedigree, brings everybody's favorite pups to the stage for an action-packed, high-energy, musical adventure. When Mayor Goodway goes missing during the day of The Great Adventure Bay Race, the pups come to the rescue.

We created our event three years ago to honor Kylie Myers, beloved sister of two of our ATL members, who lost her battle with cancer at the age of 12.

Artistic Director Kenny Leon and True Colors Theatre Company are proud to announce their 2017-2018 15th anniversary season of 'Truth & Clarity.'  The season of award winning plays and Atlanta premieres, opens in September 2017 with the Regional Premiere of the Broadway musical, Holler If Ya Hear Me featuring music by Tupac Shakur, written by Todd Kriedler, and directed by Kenny Leon. In February 2018, True Colors will produce the Tony Award winning drama King Hedley II by August Wilson directed by Jamil Jude. The season will close in July with the Southeastern premiere of the critically acclaimed play Dot by Colman Domingo, directed by Kenny Leon.

Atlanta's Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre presents the world premiere The Temple Bombing, written and directed by Jimmy Maize. A new play about the event that rocked Atlanta from Peachtree Street to Auburn Avenue, The Temple Bombing recounts the 1958 attack on The Temple, Atlanta's oldest synagogue, which bolstered local and national support for dramatic social change. The Temple Bombing will have its world premiere on the Alliance Stage from February 22 - March 12, 2017. Now, 13 years later, on March 26, Masterworks is again marking a milestone in the life of the Centre with a concert entitled 'A Musical Tribute to the Vision of Donald W. Nixon,' the late Director and the man behind the founding and success of Coweta County's priceless jewel.
