Pinch 'N' Ouch Theatre is a contemporary Theatre & Film production company dedicated to bringing exciting new works to Atlanta. Named after a phrase coined by the legendary acting teacher Sanford Meisner, 'pinch and ouch' offers an enthusiasm for provocative storytelling that is grounded in realistic performances. Since the company's arrival to Atlanta in 2010, PNO has already carved out a niche for edgy fare and has set a high standard in delivering impassioned, sharp productions from some of the most important writers working today. So Dad's Garage theatre is taking history into our own hands, and bringing to the stage tales of Benjamin Franklin, the amazing, underrated, X-rated, founding father. "Benjamin Franklin: American Gigolo" is a Dad's Garage world premiere scripted show running May 18-June 9 that will give you a glimpse into the naughty side of American history.

The Flower Room, a world premiere by Atlanta-based playwright Daryl Fazio, is as good as it can be.  The acting is fine.  The direction is adequate.  The set by Kristina White is superior. Unfortunately, the script, which was showcased last year in the AE Threshold Festival of New Plays, is seriously undercooked, making this an evening of theatre with little intellectual or emotional payoff.

The Atlanta Pride Committee and The LGBT Institute at The National Center for Civil and Human Rights are proud to partner with the Fox Theatre to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the legendary Stonewall Riots, which became a watershed moment for the LGBTQ civil and human rights movement in America. This first-of-its kind event in Atlanta features a comedy show with Wanda Sykes and Tig Notaro at the Fox Theatre on Wednesday, June 20 at 8 p.m. The celebration continues with a drag show and performance by the legendary rock band Blondie on Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m. at the Fox Theatre. Local LGBTQ advocate and activist Feroza Syed will serve as the emcee for both events.
