2025 is almost over and 2026 will be here before we know it. All eyes are already on the lineup for the new Broadway season and many Broadway productions have already revealed full details of their upcoming engagements. Why See It? From Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts and Tony Award-winning director David Cromer, this production of Bug comes to Broadway following its 2021 run at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre, starring three-time Emmy Award nominee and Tony Award nominee Carrie Coon.

This one-of-a-kind solo show, which has been performed across the globe in over 80 countries on stages of all sizes—and for an HBO Special starring co-creator Jonny Donahoe—makes its long-awaited Broadway premiere following a hit season @sohoplace in London’s West End. On Broadway, it will star Tony winner Daniel Radcliffe.

Plot: Death of a Salesman explores the struggles of a man confronting the pressures of success, identity, and family expectations in mid-20th-century America. Through shifting memories and emotional confrontations, the play paints a powerful portrait of dreams, disillusionment, and the human condition.
Why See It? Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman has been an essential part of our national consciousness since its Broadway debut in 1949, and throughout every subsequent era. The original production won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Tony Award for Best Play, and the New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award. This version will be led by Laurie Metcalf and Nathan Lane, with direction by Joe Mantello.

Plot: This production was a radical reimagining of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic dance musical Cats based on Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot. Inspired by the Ballroom culture that roared out of New York City over 50 years ago and still rages on runways around the world, it feautres all new Ballroom and club beats, runway ready choreography, and an edgy eleganza makeover.
Why See It? Cats: The Jellicle Ball previously ran Off-Broadway at PAC NYC from June 13 to July 28, 2024. It was staged as an immersive competition directed by Zhailon Levingston (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Chicken & Biscuits) and PAC NYC Artistic Director Bill Rauch (All the Way).

Why See It? The legendary rock-‘n’-roll musical takes on new life as a guaranteed party, staged by Oh, Mary! director Sam Pinkleton in a new version. With 51 years of continuous global productions, seen by over 35 million people around the world, Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show features some of the most iconic musical show stopping classics of all time, including “Dammit Janet,” “Touch-a, Touch—a, Touch-a Touch Me, “Hot Patootie” and of course “Time Warp”, the party floor-filler.

Plot: Two teenage brothers who move with their divorced mother to the fictional town of Santa Carla, California, only to discover that the town is a haven for vampires.
Why See It? Directed by Tony-winner Michael Arden, and based on the 1987 classic Warner Bros. Pictures film, it will feature an all-star cast, including Caissie Levy, LJ Benet, Ali Louis Bourzgui, Benjamin Pajak, Maria Wirries, and Paul Alexander Nolan. The film won the award for Best Horror Film by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films; spawned a franchise that included two sequels and two comic book series.

Plot: Set in 1911, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone takes place in a Pittsburgh boarding house run by the steady Seth and the open-hearted Bertha Holly—a refuge for Black travelers navigating the upheaval of the Great Migration. Among them is Herald Loomis, a man searching for his lost wife—and for the self he lost during seven years of illegal enslavement under Joe Turner.
Why See It? Golden Globe Award winner and Academy Award, Tony Award, SAG Award, and Emmy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson and six-time NAACP Image Award winner Cedric “The Entertainer” will star in August Wilson’s classic play, directed by Golden Globe Award and four-time Emmy Award winner Debbie Allen.

Why See It? Schmigadoon! arrives on Broadway fresh from an acclaimed run earlier in 2025 at the Kennedy Center. Tony winner Christopher Gattelli directs this stage adaptation of Cino Paul's beloved Apple TV+ series.

Plot: The Vernon Point Neighborhood Association is a passionate bunch, whether squabbling over historically inaccurate porch railings or debating trash can protocol. Still, no one is prepared for the neighbor-versus-neighbor battle royale that ensues when a newcomer to the board suggests the unthinkable: installing a stop sign on the corner of the enclave’s prettiest block.
Why See It? MTC will present the world premiere of The Balusters, by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon. The Balusters was commissioned by MTC through the Bank of America New Play Program.
