The Tank Presents ZOOM

On February 21st at 9:30pm, The Tank presents Zoom, an improvised theatrical experience featuring improvisers Addie Weyrich (HBO's Crashing, Adult Swim's Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell), and Adrian Burke (BET, VH1).

Zoom is a contemporary improvisation format developed in Australia by Jason Geary that celebrates language and rhythm in a way that creates a truly unique style of theatre. Often described as Birdman for the stage mixed with Murakami-style narration, Zoom has transfixed audiences all over the world. This original format has been performed in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Canberra, Wellington, Reunion Island and now for the first time - New York.

All we need is two improvisers, one drummer, an empty stage - and you.

Tickets are available at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3224412 and at The Tank (312 W 36th St 1st Floor).

Adrian Burke is an actor, improviser and writer based in NYC. He has worked with BET, VH1, Broadway Video and more. He is a member of the internationally touring musical improv team Charlie as well as the improv duo Bound. Sometimes you can see him in commercials and TV shows! He's been fortunate enough to train with improvisers like Anders Fors, Jason Geary, Chris Roberti, and many more. He has trained at UCB, Magnet, The Barrow Group, Atlantic Theater Company, and Boston University. Check out his work at adrianpierceburke.com

Addie Weyrich is a Philly raised, New York based comedian, actor, and writer. You can see her performing live with her two teams - Bronson (improvised movies) and Charlie (improvised musicals) - regularly in NYC. If in person is too much, check her out interrupting your Hulu show in funny commercials or in Season 2 of HBO's Crashing. Weyrich has been fortunate enough to have been mentored by many incredible teachers and mentors throughout her career such as Anthony Atamaniuk, Anders Fors, Jason Geary and Jill Bernard. She's also very grateful to have had amazing opportunities to perform on stages both nationally and internationally such as Upright Citizens Brigade (NYC and LA), Philly Improv Theater, Improv Iceland's Theatre, and stages at Improfest Sweden. Keep up with her at addieweyrich.com or follow her on twitter at @spagaddie_sauce or come to a show and have a human conversation??? She loves those!
