On last night's season finale of CBS's SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC, host Jeff Probst counted up the votes and announced the winner of the reality series.

Eighteen castaways began the competition on SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC when the Emmy Award-winning series returned with the game-changing element, Redemption Island. The 18 castaways were divided into two Tribes of nine: the Savaii Tribe and the Upolu Tribe, named after the two islands of Samoa. The tribes were comprised of individuals from all different backgrounds with the same ultimate goal: to be the Sole Survivor.

While 16 of the contestants were new to the competition, two were former castaways who have returned to seek Redemption. In the end, only one remained to claim the million dollar prize and title of Sole Survivor. The show is hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.
