Harpist/Actor Rita Costanzi Brings "...indescribably wonderful..." Life Story to the Solo Performance Theatre Festival.

Rita Costanzi, a masterful musician and an accomplished actress, combines these talents in a personal tell-all tale of music, passion and a very large instrument. Her musical monologue, A Score to Settle, will be performed at the United Solo Theatre Festival at Theatre Row in New York City on Wednesday, October 26 at 3 p.m

A Score to Settle, directed by Arthur Masella, longtime associate of Harold Prince, and written by Canadian Playwright Kico Gonzalez-Risso, showcases Ms. Costanzi as a gifted storyteller and chronicles her growth from musical prodigy to serious performer.

Premiered at Festival Vancouver in 2007, A Score to Settle was hailed by the Vancouver Sun as "This remarkable piece" that "reveals Costanzi as a polished, energetic comic actress." The American Harp Journal notes that "Rita Costanzi continues to delight, move and inspire audiences with her performances as a consummate harpist and remarkable artist."

Formerly Principal Harp of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the CBC Radio Orchestra, Rita Costanzi has been featured as a solo artist on television and radio programs in Canada, the United States and Brazil.

United Solo Theatre Festival TM is the world's largest annual international festival for solo performances and is held in New York City.
