ROAD SIGNS at Habima Tells the Story of Naomi Shemer's Life

Road Signs, the new musical opens at Habima Theatre this September.

Opening September 17, Road Signs tells the story of Naomi Shemer at four different intersections of her life.

Written by Oren Yaakobi and Giora Yahalom and directed by Moshe Captain, the story tells of Shemer not as the nation myth that she was often seen as but also a complex artist, a pioneering feminist, a woman who was not afraid to voice her voice, and a women who managed to live in peace between the kibbutz and Tel Aviv. The musical is composed of poems that Shemer had wrote herself.
