DREAMGIRLS Comes To Seoul, South Korea

DREAMGIRLS comes to the stage in Seoul, South Korea with an all Korean cast.
According to Boston.com, the new production is "'very first cultural exchange between Broadway and Seoul,' and notes that it is the first time an American-financed musical is opening overseas before playing in the United States."
South Korea has seen several Western Musicals come to its stages, including THE LION KING, RENT, and GREASE.
The costumes embody the glamor of the 60's and cost about 10 billion won to create. Reviews have ranged so far.
