Clubbed Thumb Announces Spring Season

The Obie-Award
winning Clubbed Thumb are proud to announce a choc-full spring theatre season
including their second hefty playwright commission in as many years, the release
of their newly published anthology, and their annual Summerworks festival of new

Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission:
On February 28th, Clubbed Thumb will start accepting proposals for their second Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission. The winner will receive a $15,000 commission, one of the largest in the country, to write and develop a play based upon Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission Guidelines due by July 15th, 2007. Last year's recipient Karl Gajdusek's play Greedy will be in this year's Summerworks 2007.

March 31st Playscripts, Inc. is publishing an anthology of selected plays produced by Clubbed Thumb over its 11 year history called Funny, Strange, Provocative: Seven Plays from Clubbed Thumb with a forward written by Oskar Eustis.
