Mischief Management is thrilled to announce that the fourth annual BroadwayCon will return to the Hilton Midtown in 2019. In addition to the Hilton, which holds the largest hotel meeting space in Manhattan, BroadwayCon will also host events at the historic Ziegfeld Ballroom.
The 2019 event will take place January 11 through Sunday, January 13. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 1 PM ET on April 27, 2018. BroadwayCon 2018 attendees will have special pre-sale access beginning Wednesday, April 25 2018 at 1 PM ET.
After two years in convention center space, BroadwayCon will return to its inaugural home, with more programming and event space than ever before.
"We feel it's very important to have BroadwayCon in the heart of the city, in the theatre district itself," says Melissa Anelli, CEO of Mischief Management and BroadwayCon co-creator. "With the space we have secured this year we can celebrate the Broadway industry we love, in grander and more creative ways than ever before. BroadwayCon supports and expands the Broadway community through showcasing its incredible talent and people, and this move will make 2019 our best year yet."
"BroadwayCon has become such an important part of the theatre landscape," says BroadwayCon Co-Creator Anthony Rapp. "I'm blown away by the passion and enthusiasm everyone brings to make BroadwayCon so special."
In addition, BroadwayCon Industry Day, curated by Situation, will return for its second year on January 11, 2019. Tickets for BroadwayCon Industry Day include access to all Industry Day and BroadwayCon programming on Friday, January 11, as well as a special Industry Day cocktail hour. BroadwayCon is theatre's answer to comic-con, tailor made for fans. From January 11-13, 2019, join some of Broadway's biggest fans, performers, and creators from classic and current shows as we gather at the Hilton Midtown to perform, discuss, debate, and celebrate theatre. BroadwayCon 2019 will feature panels, performances, interviews, workshops, singalongs, and more, all packed into an epic three-day weekend. Past panels have included previews from upcoming Broadway shows, conversations with the casts and creatives of this season's hits, and discussions featuring the industry's top producers and designers, not to mention the giant Opening Celebration and nighttime fun and games.
