Actor Leigh Trifari from Peekskill, NY, is thoroughly enjoying her role as "The Grand Duchess Olga Katrina" in Brewster Theater Company's production of "You Can't Take It With You" (now through November 4th).

"I am the comedic relief in the Third Act," says Leigh. "I play a displaced cousin of the Russian Czar who escapes to New York City after the revolution, only to end up as a waitress in Times Square. But I still get to wear my tiara."

This is Ms. Trifari's second outing with Brewster Theater Company. She appeared in a series of Christopher Durang One Acts in 2016 as "Ellen Terry" in "The Actor's Nightmare and "Marsha" in "Wanda's Visit". She is currently cast in the independent film "The Third Act," which is slated to begin production this December, and she has appeared on such network television shows such as "Law & Order: SVU"; "Madam Secretary"; "Blue Bloods" and "The Leftovers". She also worked on the new futuristic drama, "Big Dogs" for Choice Films in the Newburgh area this past summer, set to begin airing in March 2018.

"You Can't Take It With You" also stars Robert Ansbro, Nate Brewster, Emma Burke-Covitz, Jenna Isabella, Vincent LaRusso, Trevor Latasa, Sean Latasa, Laurel Lettieri, P.J. Mansfield, Carolyn McCarthy, Sean O'Hara, Marty Posner, Diane Preston, Stephen Ross, Patricia Sebastian, Ken Shelby and Stephen Zerilli.

An eccentric family allows each member to pursue his own ambition in the home, but their routine is disrupted when a daughter with a regular job wants to bring her fiancé and his Wall Street family to dinner in George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy.

"You Can't Take it With You" is being directed by Dan Friedman of The Bedford Playhouse and has three remaining shows on November 2,3, and 4th at 7:30 PM at Drew United Methodist Church, Carmel, NY. Tickets and more information can be found at www.brewstertheatercompany.org.
