Aritzfacts Joins New Rochelle ArtsFest 2013, 9/28-29
Artizfacts Studio Gallery will once again participate in open studios for the New Rochelle ArtsFest 2013. Artizfacts will be open to the public on Saturday, September 28th, 11am to 7pm and Sunday, September 29th, 12pm to 5pm.
Organized by the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, ArtsFest 2013 highlights the variety of arts and arts venues in New Rochelle and Pelham, with art exhibits, programs and family-friendly activities that spotlight the community's rich cultural and artistic diversity. Located in the heart of downtown New Rochelle, Artizfacts Studio Gallery has enriched the visual arts community by launching its monthly venue, The Social Night Life. The platform serves to showcase live musical entertainment and host exhibits for new emerging artists and performers. Kevin McDowell,artist/owner is an arts advocate and a licensed arts educator of NYS. He offers arts instruction for all ages to residents of New Rochelle and the surrounding communities.During ArtsFest 2103, Artizfacts Studio will offer a free art demonstration on acrylic painting by artist/owner Kevin McDowell on Saturdaythe 28th at 2:00 pm. There will also be a discussion on Saturday at 4:00 pm with the artist on art and its role in the community.
