Oliver Oliveros | Philippines

When American novelist Nicholas Sparks released 'The Notebook' in 1996, it had enamored many romance fiction fans through its saccharine love story of Noah and Alliea literally rain-soaked melodrama driven by a one-summer romance in South Carolina in the 60s (based on the musical's book) and a fateful separation brought about by meddling parents.
