Cossom, Anthony & More Set For BMI's Know Them Now Showcase 8/4

Kevin Cossom, Vaughn Anthony, Ginette Claudette and Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), the American performing right organization that represents more than 400,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers in all genres of music and more than 6.5 million works

WHAT: "Know Them Now," a mixer and showcase featuring three bourgeoning hip-hop and r&b talents on the verge of mainstream success. The event also serves as a launch party for the 2010 BMI Urban Sounds sampler, which features 13 original songs from a bevy promising talent, hosted by DJ Khaled.

Kevin Cossom: Due to the winning recipe of a soul- stirring voice and boy-next-door charm, Kevin Cossom is poised to be r&b's next breakout star. He is also the first artist signed to red-hot producer Danja's New Age Rocks Stars (N.A.R.S)/JIVE imprint, thanks to both his undeniable vocal skills and his phenomenal songwriting capabilities. Kevin has penned songs for Young Jeezy and Lloyd Banks, and has been featured on albums from Beanie Sigel, Rick Ross, and Chamillionaire. Vaughn Anthony: The brother of neo-soul luminary John Legend, Vaughn Anthony boasts an indisputably rich musical pedigree.
