Jersey Boys Featured on 'Live with Regis & Kelly,' May 25

The stars of Broadway's Jersey Boys--John Lloyd Young, Christian Hoff, Daniel Reichard and J. Robert Spencer--will perform on "Live with Regis & Kelly" tomorrow, Thursday, May 25. The show airs in New York on WABC, Channel 7 from 9:00am to 10:00am.

Jersey Boys has been nominated for eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Direction of a Musical - Des McAnuff, Best Book of a Musical - Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, Best Actor in a Musical - John Lloyd Young, Best Featured Actor in a Musical - Christian Hoff, Best Scenic Design of a Musical - Klara Zieglerova, Best Lighting Design of a Musical – Howell Binkley, Best Orchestrations – Steve Orich.Young, who stars as Frankie Valli, just won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical. Young's win follows Outer Critics Circle and the Theatre World Awards for his critically acclaimed portrayal of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys.Jersey Boys, which also features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff, is playing at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue).

The show is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli (Young), Bob Gaudio (Reichard), Tommy DeVito (Hoff) and Nick Massi (Spencer). "This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty," state press notes.

A cast recording is now available on Rhino Records. The show recently won Drama League and Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best Musical.
