Oliver! - 1963 - Broadway History , Info & More

Shubert Theatre (Broadway)
225 West 44th St. New York, NY

Freely adapted from Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens

Nothing is as thrilling on the stage as a well-crafted tale, and Oliver! is just such a show. Based on the Dickens novel, it engages with its pathos and drama, while delighting everyone with the musical numbers "Food, Glorious Food," "I'd Do Anything," "Where is Love?," "Consider Yourself," "As Long As He Needs Me," and "Who Will Buy." Dickens' characters are brought to life-perhaps larger than life-with all their facets glowing in this production.

Review: A RAISIN IN THE SUN at Theatre Memphis
by Kevin Shaw - Jan 30, 2024

What did our critic think of A RAISIN IN THE SUN at Theatre Memphis? The fuel for the human spirit seems to be propelled by two things: Dreams and Faith. They sound like the same thing, but there’s a distinct difference. One is about seeing, and the other is about believing. Some people have faith without any dreams and others have the dreams without any faith.
