Just close your eyes at the Longacre Theatre and you will be transported from the heart of New York City to 20th century Vienna. That is thanks to the maticuous work of Adam Cork, who acted as Sound Designer and created original music for Tom Stoppard's Leopoldstadt.

Tucked among agricultural fields and university bustle in the small town of Davis is a community staple that is treasured by locals. For 38 years, Davis Musical Theatre Company has been a fixture in the community theatre world in the Sacramento region. Based on the 1992 movie, Newsies opened on Broadway in 2012 and was nominated for 8 Tony Awards, taking home wins for Best Choreography and Best Original Score.

Disney's Newsies will close out StoryBook Theatre's 46th Season of Inspiration, running from May 12 - June 3, 2023 on Tuesdays to Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays & Sundays at 2 p.m. Audiences will be welcomed to experience a show that's filled with love, perseverance, overcoming adversity, standing up for others, as well as spotlighting the importance of community and collaboration.

EXTRA EXTRA!! Stages Theatre Company has announced the cast and creative team for Disney's Newsies JR.

Bargemusic is moored in Brooklyn just under the Brooklyn Bridge, and presents extraordinary artists performing beautiful music all year round, on a small stage with the dramatic backdrop of the East River and lower Manhattan skyline. The Masterworks Series will take place in April.

Mercury Studios in cooperation with Jazz Casual Productions, Inc., will release Duke Ellington: Love You Madly/ A Concert of Sacred Music at Grace Cathedral on April 28, 2023.

These two Emmy-nominated programs, out of print the past few years, from producer Ralph J. Gleason feature: a 1965 documentary that explores the life and legacy of Ellington, perhaps the greatest single American composer, and the September 1965 commissioned premiere Ellington’s Concert of Sacred Music at San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral.

The Moving Memory Project will return in 2023 for an in-person presentation of works by NYC-based dance artists, presented under the title Sense Memory.

Mint Theater Company returns to New York City Ce nter Stage II with the American premiere of Noël Coward’s The Rat Trap, directed by Alexander Lass, opening Monday November 21st (7pm) at New York City Center Stage II for a limited Off-Broadway engagement through December 10th only.

Charismatic Newsie, Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across New York City to strike against the powerful newspaper publisher, Joseph Pulitzer when he raises the price of newspapers at the newsies' expense. Together the newsies learn that they are stronger united and fight for what's right. Newsies Jr. is a fun show for the entire family and features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman and a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein.

Newsies, Disney's tale based on a true story about the 1899 Newsboys strike in New York City will take center stage at Dublin Coffman High School (DCHS) kicking off the 2022-2023 theater season. Performances will take place October 27, 29, November 3 and 5 at 7 p.m. in the Dublin Coffman High School Performing Arts Center.

Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse returns with the world premiere of Neith Boyce's THE SEA LADY, a 1935 play bound for Broadway that never reached its opening, in limited run from October 6 - 30, 2022, in person at the Playhouse.
