Since her film debut in Carrie, Betty Buckley has carved out a lengthy history with horror movies. BroadwayWorld caught up with Buckley to discuss working with Jason Blum on her new film, Imaginary, how she got her start in horror films with Carrie, and how she created her new short film, The Mayfly.

The band is sharing their third single, “CAR”. The new track sees the band embracing elements of hardcore and screamo, leaning into the heavier side of their work. Replete with the signature Carpool riffs, Stoph Colasanto's screams ring out through the bulk of the ripping new track before its major, dizzying climax.

Hill and her family band will tour extensively in support of the new music. Hill is currently on a North American tour – which includes six shows at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley in Seattle, WA over the course of four nights (March 14-17), The Mercury Lounge in New York City on April 9, before wrapping at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA on April 30.

Much was made of the fact that it’s been almost 20 years since Verdi’s LA FORZA DEL DESTINO was last seen at the Met. For its heralded return, they picked a choice cast (starting with Lise Davidsen), a fine conductor (Music Director Yannick Nezet Seguin) and a director (Mariusz Trelinski) who’s, well,… Two out of three ain’t bad, considering the cast. 2023 was a banner year for Zeiders, who released his debut album Pretty Little Poison in August. Zeiders capped the year at No. 1 on Billboard's Emerging Artist Chart (week of Dec. 2) and currently boasts 1.8 billion+ career streams. His Pretty Little Poison Fall 2023 tour saw 54 sold-out dates, including a sell-out at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

Alvvays have extended their 2024 North American tour dates with a run of shows with The Beths later this summer. The dates include stops in Denver, Oakland, Portland, Seattle and more. Earlier this month, the band made their GRAMMY debut earlier this month when they were nominated for Best Alternative Performance for “Belinda Says.”

I just am so grateful. Stages really produced this one for me. So I'm super excited about that. That I could give this to this theater community, and for the rest of the world to know forever and always. That Irish Catechism originated here in Houston, and it will be developed here over the next six weeks, judging from my last preview performances and opening last night. This one is next level, next level!
