Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced its line-up of shows for its 2022-2023 Subscription Series. Get the schedule and find out how to get tickets. Back by popular demand, multiple series genres will be available on a season ticket basis including Broadway, Curtain Call, Jazz, Cabaret, Chamber, and Family series.

Today Broadway is seeing more and more revivals of successful musicals from the golden age of musicals of decades past. During the 21st century, very few fresh and timely musicals that have the potential to become classics are being presented on the stage. Fly More Than You Fall, a brand-new musical production, which intends to be gracing the stages of Broadway soon, hopes to fall into that category – classic, evergreen musical production. Fly More Than You Fall will be presenting an industry reading of the production on May 9 at 2pm and May 10 at 11am. Fly More Than You Fall tells the inspiring story of a young teenage girl, Malia who undergoes a frightening journey.

Concerts for the North Charleston POPS! 2022-2023 season were announced today. The season features something for everyone. The shows are: LAKISHA JONES: QUEENS OF ROCK & SOUL on Saturday, September 24; STAR SPANGLED EVENING on Saturday, November 12; DANCE PARTY on Saturday, January 28; MAESTRO NICK’S PICKS on Saturday, March 25; and SUPER HEROES on Saturday, April 29. All performances are at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. Show time for all concerts is 7:30 PM. The season is sponsored by The Boeing Company.

Gartland Productions has announced the cast of LIFT, opening at Southwark Playhouse  on Friday 13th May 2022. Leading the company, X Factor finalist Luke Friend He/Him (Footloose, American Idiot) will play the role of Busker. He will be joined by West End star Hiba Elchikhe She/Her (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Fiver), playing the role of Secretary.

Currently on an extensive tour the UK's Funniest Red Head, La Voix is coming to the West End for one night only and will visit The Lyric Theatre, Shaftsbury Avenue on 07 November 2022

Today (Tuesday 5 April), this year's five Special Recognition Olivier Award recipients were presented with their awards by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall, during an afternoon event at Clarence House celebrating their outstanding contributions to the theatre industry.

Katie Webber will step into the role of 'Rhonda' in Broadway's TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL beginning Tuesday, April 12 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street).

Choreographer Shobana Jeyasingh's latest work is an inventive hybrid of opera, dance and video projections inspired by Monteverdi's ground-breaking 1624 operatic cantata, Il combattimento di Clorinda e Tancredi. In two acts, it is a bold new telling of a story which explores violence, resilience and revelation across cultures and times.

Acclaimed cabaret singer Katie McGrath will present “One Degree from Elvis' at acclaimed cabaret venue, Don't Tell Mama, located at 343 W 46th Street. Tickets can be purchased at donttellmamanyc.com. Her performance is set for Saturday, April 9th at 7pm. 

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announced that the North American tour of Lincoln Center Theater’s critically acclaimed production of Lerner & Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY is coming as a part of its 2021/2022 Kravis On Broadway season.  Directed by Bartlett Sher, the North American tour will play the Kravis Center from April 19 – 24.

Broadway in Fort Lauderdale has announced its 2022/2023 season at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The season includes four South Florida premiers; SIX, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird and Beetlejuice.
