ROCKING GIRLS aterriza en el Teatro Fígaro de Madrid desde el 7 de noviembre al 9 de enero para traer la mejor música en directo a los más pequeños.  Es un viaje inolvidable por los grandes clásicos del rock, una experiencia para toda la familia con la que volverás a vibrar con Tina Turner, Queen, Metallica, Janis Joplin, Lady Gaga,  Led Zeppelin, No doubt,  AC/DC, Christina Aguilera, entre otros.

The UK premiere has been announced for Mrs. Doubtfire, the new comedy musical based on the iconic movie. Tickets for the Manchester season of Mrs. Doubtfire go on priority sale on Monday 8 November and on general sale on Thursday 11 November.

Broadway’s TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL welcomed its new leading lady Nkeki Obi-Melekwe to the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre Stage last night! Check out photos of her first curtain call!

Nkeki Obi-Melekwe is an original Broadway cast member of TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL, which marks her Broadway debut, after drawing rave reviews for her portrayal of the iconic Tina Turner in the West End production.

Nick Rashad Burroughs, Broadway performer and recording artist currently in the Original Broadway Company of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, has premiered his new music video for the single 'Crazy' off of his debut ep, 'Groove Machine'. 

Mila Jam, the transgender singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and LGBTQ activist, joins the cast of  I Put a Spell on You: The Sanderson Variant, Jay Armstrong Johnson’s annual love letter to the cult-classic film Hocus Pocus.

Featuring festive favourites from the musical theatre cannon, traditional carols, and more, the concert will be hosted by Tom Read Wilson and Dolly Diamond, with musical direction by George Francis and BSL translation by Paul Whittaker alongside a host of West End stars. 

Broadway For Racial Justice x BROADWAY BLACK’s The Reckoning Halloween Party - the ultimate spooky soiree of the season - announced today that the event will celebrate and toast this year’s Tony Award winning leading lady Adrienne Warren immediately following her final performance in “Tina - The Tina Turner Musical.”

Let’s face it- theatre can be hard. It’s hard when you’re a writer, it’s hard when you’re an actor, it’s hard when you’re a director, it’s hard when you’re a designer, and everything in between. When you’re an artist, you’re constantly working emotionally, mentally, and physically, and the work doesn’t always feel rewarding. After all, we create to make ourselves heard and seen, and how does it feel when the art we create is glossed over, dismissed, and ignored? How does it feel when the art that is being put forward doesn’t reflect us? Theatre truly is for everybody, so why is it so hard for trans and genderqueer theatre artists (even today!) to find their place? The reality of it is, there’s no excuse for why the works of trans and non-binary theatre artists are not given enough recognition. The best way to get that work out there, in all honesty, is to just keep going.

It's all change at the palace as for the first time in 'SIX' her-story there is going to be a completely new cast of West End Queens, alternates and swings.

FRIGID New York will present the 13th Annual The Fire This Time Festival at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery), January 17-February 6, 2022. Performances will also be available to livestream from home. 

Kyle Banks, who could be seen in the touring and Broadway casts of The Lion King and more, is not only a talented performer, but a changemaker and philanthropist at the helm of multiple forward-thinking organizations. Taking this Broadway season off, Banks has put his focus on his other greatest passion- supporting marginalized communities.

Performers for the ceremony include Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, H.E.R., and Mickey Guyton. Inductees include Carole King, The Go-Go's, Foo Fighters, and more.

The theme of the past few weeks has shifted to labor strife and labor agreements, over ongoing concerns about COVID-19 and its variants - a welcome sign as the theatre industry gets back to work that much of the talk of changes is beginning to translate into action.
