Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation, the not-for-profit foundation of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), has announced the line-up of artists for Try It Like This: Directors and Choreographers Take the Stage, an evening of performances on Monday October 17, 2022 at 54 Below in New York City.

The national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will make its highly-anticipated return to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for a limited engagement February 21 – 26, 2023. COME FROM AWAY tickets go on sale on Friday, October 7.

The Museum of Broadway has announced the first special exhibit that will be featured in the Museum, The American Theatre as seen by Hirschfeld, curated by David Leopold, Creative Director of The Al Hirschfeld Foundation.

One of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS will come to Playhouse Square from November 1-20 as part of a multi-season North American tour.

It was reported earlier this month that the iconic Broadway gift shop, One Shubert Alley, would close on October 2nd. It has now been announced that the Araca Group’s merchandise division, Araca Merchandise, will assume management of One Shubert Alley, Broadway’s Theatre Shop, after a brief store renovation.  

In celebration of the beloved musical Annie (and Annie’s adorable rescue dog Sandy), coming to the Miller Theater October 11 – 16, 2022, the Kimmel Cultural Campus is inviting animal lovers everywhere to find their very own Sandy on Sunday, October 2 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM outside the Kimmel Center building.

The 20th Anniversary Production of Suzan-Lori Parks' Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, TOPDOG/UNDERDOG, has officially begun previews! Directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon, it stars Emmy Award-winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen, Candyman) and Tony Award-nominee Corey Hawkins (In the Heights, The Tragedy of Macbeth). DPAC has announced the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will return to DPAC for a limited engagement January 18 – 22, 2023.

Tickets for Cameron Mackintosh's production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, LES MISERABLES, are currently on sale for its return engagement on Philadelphia's Kimmel Cultural Campus, November 2 through November 13, 2022 at the historic Academy of Music.

Earlier this week, the Cort Theatre was officially renamed the James Earl Jones Theatre in honor of the iconic multi-award-winning American actor! The Shubert Organization, Inc. officially dedicated and revealed the newly renamed James Earl Jones Theatre, formerly the Cort Theatre, in honor of the iconic multi-award-winning American actor.
