MOVIE NITE was one great night of cabaret theater and it shows in all of Helane Blumfield's photos.

Who doesn't love the music of the movies? Well Ann Kittredge does and it shows in her latest show, a deep dive into decades of tunes from the flickers.

After an extended postponement, Kelli Rabke's much-anticipated show about tiny women with gargantuan voices has come into the light.

Susie Mosher's weekly variety show continues to provide stellar entertainment, and photo ops for Gene Reed.

Marcus Simeone is a singer of great range and much soul. He is fearless in going to very intimate, emotional places. He is also a born storyteller, creating vivid images with only a few words. Sean Harkness plays guitar like he made a deal with the devil. His fingers do things that should be impossible. He plays every inch of the instrument, not only the strings but the fingerboard, the frets, the bridge and he even uses the body of the guitar as percussion. The partnership between these two artists is so simpatico, it feels like one mind.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present Christina Bianco in her new show “A Lot to Unpack” on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16 at 8:30 PM. Her bags are packed for London but before she leaves her hometown this globetrotting, genre-crossing, multi-voiced, multi-wig-wearing funny girl has some serious unpacking to do.

Kelli Rabke has made a thorough study on big voice women who are not small.. they are concentrated awesome. Now she brings her thesis to The Green Room 42, along with her own big voice.

Birdland Jazz Club will present powerhouse cabaret veteran, award-winning singer, and theatre favorite Ann Kittredge for one night only in Movie Nite, supported by her musical director Alex Rybeck on piano and Sean Harkness on guitar, at The Birdland Theater (315 West 44th Street) on Sunday, October 10, 2021 @ 8:30 pm.

BIRDLAND will present Amanda Green & Friends “Vaxxed AF!” on Monday, October 4 at 7:00 PM. Tony Award-nominated lyricist/composer and award-winning performer Amanda Green will be joined by some amazing Broadway friends, including Darius de Haas, Ann Harada, Lesli Margherita, Curtis Moore, Natalie Douglas, and Dan Finnerty of The Dan Band.
