DOUBT, is a story of suspicion that surface at a Catholic school about a charismatic young priest and his interest in the school’s first and only African American student. Absent of proof, the school’s principal, Sister Aloysius, sets out to protect the innocent child, causing questions surrounding pride, faith, ambiguity, and moral conviction.

Award-winning theatre maker Patrick Livesey (The Boy, George and Gone Girls) returns to Holden Street Theatres from 18 February to 21 March for the 2021 Adelaide Fringe with the world-premiere play, DIЯT, commissioned by and starring he and his partner, Wil King (ABC's Why Are You Like This*).

Robert Galinsky's celebrated solo show The Bench, has received praise in both NYC and LA with extended sold out runs over the past three years. Last year STAGE Network filmed The Bench, directed by Tyler Milliron. On Saturday, December 21 Galinsky will host a benefit screening of his film to benefit City Kids. The event will be held at The East Village Playhouse (340 East 6th Street), doors will open at 6:30 and the screening will begin at 7 PM.  Fox Searchlight Pictures announced today that principal photography on THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE is underway in Charlotte, North Carolina. The film is written by Abe Sylvia (Dead to Me, DIRTY GIRL) and directed by Michael Showalter (THE BIG SICK; HELLO, MY NAME IS DORIS), and stars Jessica Chastain (MOLLY'S GAME, ZERO DARK THIRTY) and Andrew Garfield (HACKSAW RIDGE, SILENCE). The film is based on Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato's acclaimed 2000 documentary of the same name chronicling the dynamic ascent and subsequent demise and redemption of televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker as described by Tammy Faye herself.

The Old Globe's world premiere musical Almost Famous, with book and lyrics by Academy Award winner and San Diego native Cameron Crowe, opened just last week on September 27.

Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain are set to star in Fox Searchlight's "The Eyes of Tammy Faye," according to Variety. "The Big Sick" director Michael Showalter will helm the film from a script by Abe Sylvia.
