This Valentine's Day, Fiasco Theater is coming together to share our love for the one and only Stephen Sondheim, with an evening of songs, letters, and stories.

Fiasco Theater will begin its new Without A Net series – where shows are table-worked, thrown on their feet, and shared with an audience in only two weeks – with three nights of performances of IMOGEN SAYS NOTHING by Aditi Brennan Kapil from November 18-20, 2021 at The Connelly Theater (220 E 4th St).

With the return of live theater in New York underway, Fiasco Theater is delighted to announce its 2021–22 season. This season features the dynamic ensemble work and inventive reimagining of classics that has defined Fiasco's work since its inception, as well as an expansion into work on new plays and musicals, and the start of several new reading, performance, and development processes.

a??a??a??a??a??a??a??Measure for Measure has long been considered one of Shakespeare's 'problem plays' because it doesn't clearly fall into the constructs of his comedies or tragedies. While the play has many of the comedic elements that Shakespeare is known for (mistaken identities, eccentric side characters, and witty repartee), it tackles more complex issues such as the abuse of power for sexual purposes, moral dilemmas, and the difficulty of exposing leaders who grossly misuse their power - an eerie (and - in this case - sad) example of how Shakespeare's plays still remain so relevant today.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) and Fiasco Theater's new production of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG will play the final performance of an extended limited engagement on April 14, 2019.

'It was 1981, we were stoned out of our mind...' said Sondheim. For the first time, instead of being presented backward, the show will be re-worked to be staged in chronological order. Check out the video below for more information!
