Music, muses, and magic, XANADU at San Diego Musical Theatre brings the stage adoption of an infamous 1980’s movie to life through June 4th.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present the return of Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and actor Reeve Carney on Sunday, June 4 at 9:30 PM.

Birdland presented  a musical evening with Victoria Shaw, Jim Brickman and Peter Cincotti, who played “musical chairs,” performing their hits and telling the stories behind them.

A brand-new production of the number one party musical GREASE is set to debut as Melbourne's summer musical at Her Majesty's Theatre from January 2024 and the Capitol Theatre in Sydney from March 2024.

The 17-track album features Olivia’s final recording, the classic “Jolene” with Dolly Parton, and the previously unreleased [on audio CD or vinyl] “Hopelessly Devoted to You” with Mariah Carey.  Other duet artists include Barry Gibb, John Travolta, Michael McDonald, Cliff Richard, Richard Marx, Delta Goodrem, Kelly Lang, and more.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present renowned pianist and singer Billy Stritch and award-winning jazz vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli in the return of their special show “Mel and Ella Swing!” on Monday, June 5 at 7:00 PM.

Following sell out performances across Australia and by overwhelming demand, the 50s and 60s song and dance spectacular Shake, Rattle 'n' Roll is touring Australia once again and will play for one performance only in the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide on Saturday 17 June at 7.30pm.

Sarasota Opera has announced the lineup for the 2023 Summer Classic Movies at the Opera House. The Classic Movies at the Opera House series featuring many beloved movies will open on Friday, May 12th at 7:30 pm with 2001: A Space Odyssey. Throughout the summer and into the fall, featured movies will include films ranging from the 1930's to the 1990's. Tickets will be $12 and will go on sale starting on Wednesday, May 3. BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the New York solo concert debut of Brittney Johnson – who made history as the first Black actress to play “Glinda” in Broadway’s Wicked – on Monday, May 1 at 7:00 PM.

GREASE, a perennial favorite for theaters and theater-goers, is quite the crowd-pleaser at Toby's Dinner Theater in Columbia, Maryland. It's full of fun songs you already know, excellent dancing and a tiny bit of plot. The cast is excellent and the staging is lively. It has many elements in common with the movie, but a PG rating isn't one of them.
