The Country Music Association has announced even more performers for “The 55th Annual CMA Awards.” Country Music’s Biggest Night™ will see Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley feat. BRELAND and HARDY, Luke Bryan, Jennifer Hudson, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, and Zac Brown Band front and center on the CMA Awards stage. The night will be hosted by Luke Bryan.

Multiple global superstars will battle it out for the night’s top honor, Artist of the Year. Nominees in this category include Ariana Grande, BTS, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd. Swift is the current record-holder for most wins in this category with six wins. Check out the full list of nominees!

Florida Studio Theatre has announced the lineup for its 48th Winter Season, featuring a four-show Mainstage Series and a three-show Cabaret Series. The Mainstage Series features one of the most successful Rock & Roll musicals of all time, an Olivier Award-winning comedy, a World Premiere, and an Off-Broadway hit. The Cabaret Series features two all-new musical revues celebrating the lyric poets of the 20th century day followed by a political satire-inspired comedy set to music.

Blended Festival, the fast-growing music, wine, and food event presented by My Wine Society, announces the culinary lineup and wine lineup for their inaugural Blended Austin, to take place Friday, Sept. 10 and Saturday, Sept. 11 at Hartman Lawn at The Long Center for Performing Arts (701 W. Riverside Dr, Austin, Texas 78704).

The concert features performances by Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, and more! Filmed July 27-28 with the Nashville skyline as the backdrop, this three-hour, artist-curated primetime special features more than 30 individual performances and collaborations from the biggest names in country music.  

The colorful clip stars Lambert’s brother, Luke Lambert, and his husband, Marc. The Pride-ful shindig also includes LGBTQ+ friends and allies, including nearly a dozen of Luke’s and Marc’s closest friends who traveled from Austin, TX to join in the fun.

Filmed amidst the skyline of downtown, the three-hour, artist-curated primetime special will feature individual performances and collaborations from more than 20 of the biggest stars in Country Music.

Artists taking the stage at Ascend Amphitheater on July 27 include Luke Bryan, Mickey Guyton, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Cole Swindell, and Carrie Underwood.

Any frontline worker who presents their work ID will get to skip the line and head straight for the stage, with performances from Collin Raye, Walker Hayes, Tenille Arts, Adam Doleac, Hannah Dasher and Southerland in addition to Stell.

Why do we love theater? Is it the marvelous sets? Explosive vocals? The costumes? Surely, all of that is wonderful, but whether you’re listening to the cast album or seeing a show live, you’re going to hear the songs and experience the story. Well, that’s what the best country music is all about. It tells a story.

Starting Canada Day, Wednesday July 1, Festival Place invites you to experience live music once again during the summer Qualico Patio Series in Peace Park, Sherwood Park. Except for the July 1 concert, the Qualico Patio Series will be presented Wednesday evenings starting at 7:30pm.

Celebrating a return to performances after an extended intermission due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the nonprofit Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) is bringing the best of Broadway “Roaring Back” to Nashville with its 2021-22 HCA Healthcare/TriStar Health Broadway at TPAC Season, featuring a multi-week return engagement of Nashville’s best-loved Broadway musical, Disney’s THE LION KING.

The weeklong celebration will include tribute concerts at The Ryman Auditorium (October 6 & 7), CMA Theater at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (October 8) and the Basement East (October 9) and will culminate on October 10—what would have been John’s 75th birthday. 

Returning to live music, Honey County will be opening for Cole Swindell on August 4 at The Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, Calif. They've been able to play a number of socially-distant shows, staying active throughout the pandemic, but are excited to continue growing their live presence.
