Producers Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Group announced today that the longest-running show in Broadway history, Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, directed by Harold Prince, will once again make theater history, reaching the unprecedented milestone of 12,000 performances. A feat achieved by no other Broadway show, the 12,000th performance will take place Monday evening, November 28 at 8PM at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street). (more...)

Following rave reviews for both the show and its leading man Charlie Stemp, Cameron Mackintosh announced today that booking for the Cameron Mackintosh and Chichester Festival Theatre production of HALF A SIXPENCE at the Noel Coward Theatre has been extended to 22 April 2017. Tickets are priced from £12.50 to £77.50. A limited number of £20 seats are released each day from 10am in person at the box office. (more...)

Katie Rosie Clarke (as Ellen) and Nicholas Christopher (as John) are the latest additions to the the cast of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON, which begins performances Wednesday, March 1 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Directed by Laurence Connor (LES MISERABLES, School of Rock), the Broadway return of MISS SAIGON will feature its American stars, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer and 20-year-old Eva Noblezada as Kim, who created their roles in the West End to great acclaim. Rachelle Ann Goand Devin Ilaw have also recently joined the cast, as Gigi and Thuy. The lead male role of Chris will be announced later this month. Opening night for MISS SAIGON will be Thursday, March 23. MISS SAIGON will play a limited engagement throughJanuary 14, 2018 before launching a North American tour later in the year. (more...)

After taking on the role of Grizabella after pop star Nicole Scherzinger decided to depart the revival in favor of being a judge on The X Factor, Lewis joined the production in time for the Broadway transfer, which opened July 31st.
