Theatre Tuscaloosa opens the 2023-24 Season: A Season of Change with Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End, a one-woman show by Margaret Engel and Allison Engel, October 4 - 8, 2023, in the Alabama Power Recital Hall on the Martin Campus of Shelton State Community College (9500 Old Greensboro Rd).

Second Stage presents: Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End. Performances run October 4-8, 2023 at Alabama Power Recital Hall at SSCC. The production is by Margaret Engel and Allison Engel and directed by Tina Turley.

Cleveland Play House will present the Suburban Outlaw production of Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End, a quick-witted, uplifting story recounting the life of America columnist and humorist, Erma Bombeck.

Triangle Productions presents Erma Bombeck by Margaret Engel and  Allison Engel, December 1 – 17th.

Austin Playhouse will present Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins by Margaret Engel and Allison Engel starring Austin Playhouse company member Cyndi Williams as the notorious journalist for three performances October 14–16, 2022.

Due to the surge in Covid-19 infection rates, Merrimack Repertory Theatre announced today that its upcoming production of Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End will pause after the completion of rehearsals next week, and the comedy will restart with both live and video performances on February 24. This move will cause the theatre to shift Woody Sez: The Life and Music of Woody Guthrie to June.

Gales of laughter will boost spirits in Lowell this winter when Merrimack Repertory Theatre celebrates America’s funniest Mom ever with Erma Bombeck: At Wit’s End by Allison Engel and Margaret Engel, featuring Karen MacDonald, from January 19 to February 6, according to Artistic Director Courtney Sale and Executive Director Bonnie J. Butkas.

For the first time in 21 months, Merrimack Repertory Theatre will return to The Nancy L. Donahue Theatre for indoor performances when it presents a world premiere holiday comedy, The Rise and Fall of Holly Fudge by Trista Baldwin, from November 26 to December 12, according to Artistic Director Courtney Sale and Executive Director Bonnie J. Butkas.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre will continue its 2021-22 Season with Allison Gregory's Wild Horses, a woman's hilarious account of one wild summer in her youth, from September 17 through October 3 at various alternative locations and via video on demand, according to Nancy L. Donahue Artistic Director Courtney Sale and Executive Director Bonnie J. Butkas.

The season will include the world premiere of The Rise and Fall of Holly Fudge by Trista Baldwin, a new concert of Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway classics, the East Coast premiere of Best Summer Ever, and two productions that were postponed due to the pandemic.

MainStage Irving*Las Colinas is making their streamed production of Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End available again over the long holiday weekend –from midnight on Thanksgiving (November 26) to 11:59 PM on Tuesday, December 1. Access codes are $19 (single) and $29 (group/family) and are on sale now at www.MainStageIrving.com. 

With the health and safety of performers and patrons of greatest importance, the MainStage Irving-Las Colinas Board of Directors has replaced the previously scheduled production of the large-cast play A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder with the hilarious Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End by Allison Engel and Margaret Engel.
