Comedy Central's newest late night hit '@midnight,'produced by Funny Or Die, will hit the road this fall, trading Silicon Beach for Silicon Alley. The social media sensation joins the stellar lineup of the 2014 New York Comedy Festival to tape a week of shows which will air Monday, November 3 throughThursday, November 6 at Midnight ET/PT.
Hosted by Chris Hardwick (@nerdist), the special NYCF week of episodes will include visual and textual nods to New York and feature a coterie of comedians playing fan favorites such as #HashtagWars, Rapid Refresh and Sweet Emoji. The '@midnight' tapings will be filmed at ABC Television Center on Manhattan's Upper West Side and fans may request free tickets atwww.nycomedyfestival.com.

Funny lady Kathleen Madigan returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, October 18, at 8 p.m. for another laugh-out-loud show. Over her 25-year career, she has performed on nearly every standup television show. Her last hour-long special, Gone Madigan, premiered on Showtime. The Geffen Playhouse announces its production of The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord. Written by Scott Carter, executive producer and writer for Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect and Real Time, this whip-smart philosophical comedy features Larry Cedar (Deadwood, PBS's Square One TV), David Melville (Travel Channel Lawrence of America, film Ironclad) and Armin Shimerman (Quark on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Associate Artistic Director at The Antaeus Company) and will be again helmed by director, Matt August (Broadway How the Grinch Stole Christmas). Fans of The Human Race's 2008 production of Tom Dudzick's national hit Over the Tavern will rejoice at the regional premiere of the playwright's 'rollicking' Miracle on South Division Street, directed by Human Race Resident Artist Richard E. Hess (Race, Red, Doubt). 60 years ago, Grandpa Nowak had a vision of the Virgin Mary in his Buffalo, New York barbershop and had an unusual statue of her made to commemorate the miracle. For decades, his family has faithfully tended to his quirky shrine-a source of hope and inspiration in an otherwise run-down part of town. That is until a deathbed confession knocks them for a loop in this hilarious hit comedy that proves when it comes to local legends, there's more than meets the eye.
