Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced that Sienna Miller ("American Sniper", After Miss Julie) will join the cast of CABARET starring opposite Alan Cumming beginning February 17, 2015. Miller will take over for current star Emma Stone, whose final performance is February 15, and play "Sally Bowles" for the final six weeks of the limited engagement through March 29, 2015. (more...)

Charming family patriarch Sam Baker lies in a hospital bed, recovering from an apparent heart attack, but his wife, Marsha, won't stop making the crisis all about her -- much to the dismay of their son, Aaron. The young photographer wonders why his parents even stay together while he and his husband, Malcolm, deal with their own issues as newlyweds. Intimate, yet universal, Family Shots is a wildly funny and touching comedy about marriage -- its joys, challenges and responsibilities -- and what's worth fighting for. It is a 'birthday' tour of Sharon Tate in Heaven in LA, coinciding with Sharon Tate's birthday (b. January 24, 1943). It includes new material inspired by the last LA tour. Written and performed by This American Blonde Actress, Jen Danby (THE BLONDE BOMBSHELL PROJECT: MARILYN MONROE, Nina in SEAGULL69, an adaptation by Mississippi Mud of Chekhov's SEAGULL set in LA in summer 1969), and developed by research into videos, virtual explorations, books, pictures, interviews, films, and trekking through LA, it's a celebration of love and a Valentine. 'A Hard Rain' by Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper is set in 1969 Greenwich Village in the sweltering few days before the Stonewall riots. A drag queen and former soldier named Ruby, veteran of ten months' fighting in Vietnam, rocks up in Greenwich Village in high heels and a rage. In a Mafia-run bar greased with smart-talking queers, bribe-happy cops and nervous Wall Street high-flyers, she meets a street kid and will change his world, and ours. The piece debuted in February-March, 2014 at Above the Stag Theatre in London. Theater for the New City will present the play's American premiere, directed by Michael Luggio, January 6 to 25, 2015.
