Academy of Acting for Film and Theatre is offering Watt’s Master Class Acting & Scene Study online live for 7-weekly sessions, 7-9PM, starting Tuesday, May 9, 2023. This class is highly participatory and space is very limited to give personalized attention to each actor. The curriculum includes relaxation, sense memory, “what if,” voice projection, on-camera cold reading technique, in-depth scene study, and “the business of acting.”

One Life, Live It!, a new play written and produced by Stephen S. Miller and directed by Laurie Rae Waugh will make its World Premiere at the New York Theater Festival at Teatro LATEA with three performances: Monday, May 8, 2023 at 6:15 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 14, 2023 at 3:30 p.m.
NJRep Announces Acting and Playwriting Adult Education Classes

New Jersey Repertory Company has announced the launch of their Adult Education program with two classes designed to offer adults the opportunity to expand their theatrical enjoyment. Beginning May 16 and running until July 11, (no class on July 4) these 8-week sessions are designed to allow each student to work at their own pace regardless of experience. Students at all levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. Classes will be held at West End Arts at 132 West End Avenue, Long Branch. Parking is free.
