Mrs. Doubtfire has announced a a digital rush ticket policy for the Broadway production, which begins previews tonight, Thursday, October 21 in advance of an official opening night on Sunday, December 5 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St).

Casting has been confirmed for the Broadway production of Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical comedy with a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell and music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, directed by Jerry Zaks.

Director Chris Columbus has revealed that an R-rated version of the 1993 film Mrs. Doubtfire exists.

Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical produced by multi-Tony Award winner Kevin McCollum (Avenue Q, Rent, In The Heights, Something Rotten!), based on Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture, has announced the full cast for the Broadway production. Carolyn Bergier, host of the Dyking Out podcast, put together a truly diverse variety show line up, with performers from all types of backgrounds and performance styles. Standouts included Eman El-Husseini and Jess Salomon, a Jewish-Muslim married couple, stand up by Emma Willmann, and a downright strange but very funny burlesque number by Nyx Nocturne that played on 'All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth' with a sexy, porn-esque dentist-themed dance.

Fearless Young Artists Productions under the supervision of LaQuest Sharnell Pringle, will present 3 invitation only readings of the Critically acclaimed plays Closer (Patrick Marber), The Submission (Jeff Talbot) and The Dead Guy (Eric Colbe) on July 15th, 17th and 19th directed by Rock of Ages star and Heathers: The Musical alum, Dan Domenech. Cast members include Jordan McDonald, LaQuet Sharnell Pringle (Memphis, Sweet Charity), Zen Pace (Narcissus), Ryan Kay, Lambert Tamin (Klein Syndicate) & Renata Soares (Out of Water - A Brazillian Pocket Musical).

Broadway Unlocked founder Jessica Ryan announced today the seventh annual #giveback concert held Sunday, April 7, 2019 at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space raised over $51,000 for the Crime Victims Treatment Center.   The evening featured new and original work, including a host of debut songs inspired by the writings of survivors who have found help at CVTC.  A multitude of artists contributed their talents across the event's digital content and concert cast.

This past September, Lauren Class Schneider produced a staged reading of Reginald Rose's '12 Angry Men' performed by 12 Broadway women, followed by voter registration facilitated by the League of Women Voters, to allow audience members the chance to register or update their registration.
