Producer Barry Diller announced today that Academy Award® nominee and two-time Emmy Award® winner Greg Kinnear will make his Broadway debut in the iconic role of ‘Atticus Finch’ in the Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird, Aaron Sorkin’s new play, directed by Bartlett Sher, and based on Harper Lee’s classic novel, beginning January 5, 2022. Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Jeff Daniels’ final performance will be on Sunday, January 2, 2022.

Producer Barry Diller today announced the complete cast for the Broadway return of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, the most successful American play in Broadway history. Written by Aaron Sorkin with direction by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, To Kill a Mockingbird is set to reopen on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the Shubert Theatre.

Daniels touches on his new series 'American Rust', his inspiration behind his portrayal of Atticus Finch in 'To Kill a Mockingbird', the joy of being a grandfather, and more.

The series also stars Maura Tierney, David Alvarez, Bill Camp, and Julia Mayorga. The first episode can now be viewed for free on YouTube!

An A-list schedule of celebrities will stop by the show throughout the month, including Jessica Chastain, Regina Hall, Jake Gyllenhaal, Demi Lovato, Jeff Daniels, Diane Lane, Gabrielle Union, Amanda Peet, Anderson Cooper, Vanessa Hudgens, Ben Platt, and Jason Biggs.
