After making a strong impact with a string of electrifying singles, the London/Nashville duo Ida Mae return with the dreamy new track “Feel The World Turning,” the fourth installment from their upcoming studio album Thunder Above You, “Feel The World Turning” sits as one of the more emotive entries lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

Pop rock project Floor Space have released their triumphant single, “Smile While It’s Ending” produced by John Naclerio. (My Chemical Romance, Brand New). “Smile While It’s Ending” can be heard as an anthem of frustration, delving into the struggles of growing up, self destruction and acceptance with memorable hooks and infectious melodies.

Wajatta, the duo of Reggie Watts and John Tejada, returns with a brand new EP, Waiting For The Get Down. They kick off the EP’s release with an infectious lead single, “Again And Again (feat. March Adstrum).” Packed with relentless 4/4 kicks, melodic synth chords, and lyricism, Waiting For The Get Down throws caution to the wind.

The album was conceived following Chris Turpin and Stephanie Jean discovering she was pregnant while on tour with Willie Nelson and Lucinda Williams in San Francisco. They teamed with longtime collaborators Ethan Johns, who contributed drums on the album, and bassist Nick Pini (Laura Marling, Nick Mulvey), to record the album in just 7 days. 

Nashville’s Be Your Own Pet will release their long-awaited new album Mommy via Third Man Records. They tease the LP with a new single, the thunderous “Big Trouble.” The song is a siren-laden jam where front-woman Jemina Pearl insists on her own emotions and reality. The song comes from his debut EP The Confluence, produced by seven-time GRAMMY winner Vance Powell (Chris Stapleton, Phish, Jack White) and featuring members of the 400 Unit on all tracks. Yesterday, “Stumbling In The Dark” was featured at Magnet who called the song “starkly emotional.” Watch the video now!

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Louis Cato is unveiling his new song “Another Day” featuring a duet with Elizabeth Ziman of Elizabeth & The Catapult. The track appears on Cato’s forthcoming album Reflections. Cato is slated to perform an album release show at New York’s (Le) Poisson Rouge on August 11 with special guest Ziman.

Harrelson produces the film as well, along with Post Film’s Russ Posternak, Freestyle Picture Company’s Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri, 7 Deuce’s Jeremy Plager, Greg Lauritano, Subtractive’s Kyle Schember, and Zac Adams. Academy-Award nominee Will Butler (Arcade Fire) is set to compose the score.

The new track is “Goodtime!,” which highlights the struggle of balancing two kids, a mortgage, and the desire for BYOP to make a comeback. The album will be quickly followed by a massive North American tour.

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Louis Cato returns with his new album Reflections. Recorded in just seven days, Thunder Above You marks the most significant creative period in Ida Mae’s career to date. It followed months of touring the states with legendary artists including Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Marcus King and Greta Van Fleet, driving from clubs to arena shows and, all the while, being inspired by the landscapes.

Following a whirlwind two-year career in the late 00’s that saw the four teenagers release two records (via Thurston Moore’s Ecstatic Peace in the US and XL Recordings in the UK), become magazine cover stars, and play to ravenous sold-out crowds around the world, it became clear that the flame burned too quickly and they needed to call it quits.

Produced by Fuzzbrain’s Ben Spence and engineered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Jeff Rosenstock, Joyce Manor), Island of Love is an album full of songs that pinball back and forth between tones and styles, and make up one of the most refreshing and fun debut albums you’ll hear in 2023. 

Leading artists and activists including Marisa Tomei, Kerry Washington, and Stephanie Hsu will gather at The Town Hall for the book launch of Voices of a People's History of the United States in the 21st Century.

Green Space has announced a diverse roster of artists for its signature programs this December. Take Root will present an evening of work by Alma Dance Company and wonderland wizehart on May 5th and 6th and Fertile Ground showcases works-in-progress by multiple dance artists May 7th.

Starting off in Tampa, the band will join the lineup of Tropical Heatwave Festival before making their way up the East Coast, with stops in major markets including New York and D.C. Partway through the run, Glove will make a detour to the UK for more headline shows and a few dates with Nation of Language.

The cornerstone influences - a sprinkle of Queens of the Stone Age swagger; a splash of glam; a Lennon-like knack for melody - remain present, but utilised in ways that rely wholly on Matthew Marcantonio, Adam Godfrey and Thomas Armstrong’s specific magic as a unit: one that values a “janky guitar solo.”

The song marks their first new music since the release of their Get Damaged EP (XL Recordings) in 2008 and was written and recorded by the three founding members Jemina Pearl Abegg (vox), Jonas Stein (guitar), Nathan Vasquez (bass), and longtime drummer John Eatherly.
