 iHeartMedia, the leading audio company in America which also has a greater reach in the U.S. than any other media outlet, announced today the return of the iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One on Saturday, May 2. For the seventh straight year, Country music's biggest superstars will perform at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas in a live celebration of all things Country.

The Lumineers announce the addition of more dates to the epic arena tour celebrating their landmark album, III, including Coors Field the band's first stadium headlining in their hometown Denver on August 29. Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) will release his fourth studio album, The Slow Rush on February 14 (Interscope), and today he releases the single, “Lost In Yesterday.” “Lost In Yesterday,” is a deep dive into the addictive nature of nostalgia propelled by loopy, driving disco. An examination of time's distorting effect on memories, on “Lost In Yesterday,” Parker realizes that even the most disdainful times can take on a rosy tinge the further they recede in the rearview. Looking back can be a tough habit to break, but the track's compulsive bassline, sprinkles of electronic stardust and chorus catharsis ensure the focus is firmly on the future.

Tame Impala Announce Major North American Tour with Special Guest Perfume Genius

Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) will release his fourth studio album, The Slow Rush on February 14 (Interscope), and today he announces a full North American tour in support of the album. The tour kicks off with the previously announced date of March 9 at San Diego's Pechanga Arena and concludes August 7 at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA. The dates include two nights at The Forum in Los Angeles on March 10 (sold-out) and 11. Clario and MGMT will support on previously announced March dates in California and Mexico, and Perfume Genius will support the full North American tour beginning in May. Tickets for the newly announced dates go on-sale Friday, December 13 at 10:00 AM local time. Following the release of his new album, Sound & Fury, GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson has announced North American dates for his 2020 Sturgill Simpson: A Good Look'n Tour. Those fans paying attention this weekend at Nashville's Turnip Truck got a sneak peek of the tour announcement. The 35+ date tour, presented by AEG Presents, will kick off February 21, 2020 in Birmingham, AL and travel to cities such as New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Boston before concluding May 24, 2020 in Louisville, KY. The Black Keys' Debut Live Version Of GO From Rehearsals In Nashville, Via Rolling Stone

This morning, The Black Keys debut a live version of “Go,” the second single off their ninth studio album “Let's Rock,” (Easy Eye Sound/Nonesuch Records), via Rolling Stone. For the performance they are joined by their touring band, Andrew Gabbard and Delicate Steve on guitar, and Zachary Gabbard on bass. The video, taped at a recent rehearsal in front of a small audience made up of members of the band's fan club, provides a behind-the-scenes look and a preview of their upcoming “Let's Rock” tour, which kicks off on September 23 at Denver's Pepsi Center. The Black Keys' LET'S ROCK Debuts At Number 1 On The Us Top Current Album Chart And Number 4 On Billboard 200

The Black Keys' ninth studio album, “Let's Rock,” was released on June 28 via Easy Eye SoundNonesuch Records and debuted at number 1 on the US Top Current Album Chart, and number 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. As explained in their recent New York Times profile, the band decided not to participate in the current music- business practice of bundling their album with ticket sales. The Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney says: “We decided to avoid ticket bundling like we always have. To us, it feels like a gimmick. It exists solely as a way to game the charts and we want no part of that.” The album is also number 1 in the following categories: Top Current Rock Albums, Current Alternative Album, Current Digital Albums, LP Vinyl Album, and Top Internet. Internationally, “Let's Rock” is the band's third consecutive top 10 album in the UK, debuting at number 3, as well as top 10 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, and Switzerland, amongst others.
