Fusion Theatre presents MEDEA, an innovative infusion of Euripides’ Greek tragedy with excerpts from Luigi Cherubini’s eponymous opera, exemplifying the company’s signature blend of classic opera with classic plays. 

Following high ticket demand during its original two-week run (Jan. 25-Feb. 4), La MaMa's world-premiere of Chuck Mee's ARISTOTLE THINKS AGAIN – his timely look at chaos and vengeance of the Greek classics as it reflects on the world today – will play two additional performances.

My Mother Had Two Faces makes its Boston debut at The Rockwell at 255 Elm Street in Somerville, MA on Sunday, March 3rd at 2:00pm. 

Crystal Skillman, celebrated playwright, and musical theater collaborator, will visit Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia for a reading of her play Rain and Zoe Save the World.

The Bacchae comes to the National Theatre in Prague this month. Performances run 18 January - 9 April.

Pittsburgh Opera continues its 2023–24 Season with Iphigénie en Tauride. Composed in 1779 by Christoph Willibald Gluck, and based on Euripides’ great Greek drama Iphigenia in Tauris, it is the powerful Trojan War-era tale of a sister whose duty requires that she kill a man who turns out to be her brother.
