Last night, Women In Film, Los Angeles (WIF, LA) kicked off Oscar® weekend with its highly-anticipated cocktail party presented by sponsors Max Mara, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, and Heineken, with additional support from Major Partners IMDbPro and Tequila Don Julio. The party honored all 60 women, in front of and behind the camera, who have been nominated for an Academy Award® this year. 

Reba McEntire’s special CD & DVD pairing, MY CHAINS ARE GONE, is available today. Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, Reba McEntire and Sebastián Yatra will perform this year’s nominated songs on the 94th Oscars®, show producers Will Packer and Shayla Cowan announced. Van Morrison was invited to perform his nominated song but will not attend the Oscars due to his tour schedule.

The Cinema Audio Society (CAS) Award for Outstanding Sound Mixing Motion Picture - Live Action was presented tonight to the sound mixing team for Dune: Production Mixer Mac Ruth CAS; Re-Recording Mixer Ron Bartlett CAS; Re-Recording Mixer Douglas Hemphill CAS; Scoring Mixer Alan Meyerson CAS; ADR Mixer Tommy O'Connell and Foley Mixer Don White.

The 37th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival presented by UGG closed with a special screening of DIONNE WARWICK: DON’T MAKE ME OVER, with the iconic singer in attendance.
