Stephen DeAngelis is continuing his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with the next edition in his monthly residency of AT THIS PERFORMANCE…™ to be held on Monday, May 22nd at The Green Room 42.

Two-time Tony Award nominee Gavin Lee will be going on tonight as Fagin in Oliver! at New York City Center!

Rehearsals are underway for the New York City Center production of Oliver! The cast of the filmed Broadway production will include Sara Bareilles (Jenna),  Eric Anderson (Cal), Charity Angel Dawson (Becky), Christopher Fitzgerald (Ogie), Drew Gehling (Dr. Pomatter), Caitlin Houlahan (Dawn), Dakin Matthews (Joe) and Joe Tippett (Earl).

The Broadway musical Chicago welcomed actress and singer Olivia Holt making her Broadway debut in the role of 'Roxie Hart' beginning last night, Monday, April 10 at the Ambassador Theatre. BroadwayWorld was there for her first show and you can check out photos of her taking her bows!

Julian Lerner has joined the cast of New York City Center production of Oliver! as The Artful Dodger.

The Broadway company of Chicago will welcome Kimberly Marable in the role of “Velma Kelly,” Liam Fennecken in the role of “Amos Hart” and welcomes back Charity Angél Dawson as “Matron Mama Morton” beginning Monday, April 10, 2023.

Lionel Bart's Oliver! has been a household name since its premiere in 1960 but has not been seen on a New York City stage for nearly 40 years. While we await its return, study up on videos of some of the greatest performances of the show's most iconic anthem, Nancy's 'As Long As He Needs Me.'
